The second traditional ELT Debate on conformity and non-conformity to the use of Standard English in ELT was held on the 8th of May 2018.
Senior pre-service language teachers were grouped as proponents and opponents of the use of Standard English in ELT as a final work of Varieties of English course by expressing their arguments to refute the other group’s claims.
