On September 25, 2024, an online webinar titled "Generative AI in Education: Insights from Research and the Classroom" was held via Zoom, featuring faculty members from the Department of Foreign Languages Education and AI specialists from Sakarya University's Education Commission. The event was organized by Dr. Burcu Koç, a research assistant from the Department of Foreign Languages Education, who initiated and invited Northeastern University's Dr. Ilka Kostka to deliver the presentation. The webinar provided an interactive discussion on the use of artificial intelligence in education, allowing participants to compare AI practices at both institutions. Faculty members from Sakarya University and Dr. Kostka exchanged ideas on AI applications in education. The event concluded with a Q&A session, where best practices were shared, and potential opportunities for future collaborations were explored.
