English Preparatory Program

Foreign Language Education Department's Compulsory English Preparatory Class Practices:

Students who fail the English proficiency exam and/or cannot be exempted with a certificate will attend the compulsory English preparatory class for one year. Below are the academic calendar, evaluation percentages, and course syllabus.

Year-End Exam (60%)

Year-End Proficiency Exam (SAUPET) (Only students who meet the 80% attendance requirement can take this exam.)

Passing the Preparatory Class

Students who achieve a combined score of 80 or higher, from 40% of in-year evaluations and 60% of the Year-End Proficiency Exam (SAUPET), will be considered successful in the preparatory class.
