Dr Boris Vazquez-Calvo, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Foreign Language Education at the University of Malaga (Spain), visited our faculty on November 12 and 13, 2024, within the scope of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program. On Tuesday, November 12, Dr Vazquez-Calvo met with our faculty members at 1:00 PM, and on Wednesday, November 13, he engaged with our pre-service teachers.
During his presentations, he provided an overview of the Spanish education system and the University of Malaga. He then focused on his area of expertise: integrating technology into language teaching.
Dr Vazquez-Calvo also introduced AI-powered tools that can support pronunciation teaching, allowing participants to explore and experiment with these applications firsthand. The event concluded with a Q&A session and expressions of gratitude for Dr Vazquez-Calvo's valuable insights and contributions.
