In order to help students studying at the preparatory program of Foreign Language Teaching Department to improve their receptive skills in English, Extensive Reading and Listening Program (ERLP) was initiated with the support of Vice Head of the Department Dr. Adem Soruç.
Before the program started, an orientation meeting was held to inform the students. Each week a group of randomly assigned students had a meeting with an instructor to discuss what
they did during the week regarding reading and listening, and did the activities introduced by their instructors.
